Hello: Matt Ward & AmosListers
I'm sorry I was wrong the WB can display more of a PAL screen then Amos can.
max monitor 234 or 0 to 233
max TV 231 or 0 to 230
Mr. Giark is also right that NTSC Y is 50, but PAL Y is 40, and because
your game is PAL Y should be set to 40 to maintain a normal PAL screen.
Mr. Giarks suggestion that you should offer NTSC users the opportunity to
run you game in PAL is ok as an option for people that like running their
games on their monitors.
I prefer to run my games on my 35' SVHS TV with external speakers that make
my windows rattle, and NTSC TVs no longer have the ability to run in PAL.
231 lines should be more then a enough room to get games like Q-Bic &
Bloodfest to run on a NTSC Amiga like Guardian for the CD32 does.
What kind of game are you converting?
Eric Hyland
